After an evening on board, moored up in Dale, over breakfast I used the last of the ragworm and a mackerel head. No fish took an interest. Revisiting a few marks from yesterday gave a pollack and another dogfish. Still no rays.

Another location and although I expected more dogfish, I thought if I just fished through them, I would eventually boat a ray. Even if the ratio was 10 dogfish : 1 ray. It wasn’t even that. Dogfish after dogfish took the squid and sandeel bait.
