Same location. Same bait. Same rig. Same weather. Same state of the tide….different result.
Three days ago, I caught a couple of thornback ray. Today…not so much. A couple of dogfish. That is all.
A bit of feathering on the reefs supplied the pollack. Once again, they are all small. Something’s not right with the pollack population here.
Time to try something different. We anchor up offshore of The Gann – the muddy bay to the north of Dale bay. A very hairy spider crab was the only thing I could attract.
Still beats working.
